FNV Company Monitor

The FNV Company Monitor researches the social policies of Dutch multinational companies in developing and transitional countries, and supports the development of networks between Dutch employees of these companies and their colleagues abroad.

We do this out of solidarity with our colleagues far away: by making contact we can help them improve their working situation. But it is also important for us in the Netherlands to have these contacts.

In ten years the heart of many companies will no longer be in the Netherlands, or even Europe, but much further away. That is why we need to get to know our colleagues abroad nów, and exchange experiences and strategies. Only that way we can identify trends within a company, and can unions worldwide anticipate changing situations.

In 2011 we focus on trade union freedom and what multinational companies can do to improve trade union freedom in their companies and in the supply chain. See also: tradeunionfreedom.fnvcompanymonitor.nl
